A bag intended for clothing and a pack intended for bulky bedding may need different openings, dimensions and instructions. Record the complete retail set as well as each individual bag.
1. Define the bag sizes and set count
List each bag size and quantity in the set. State how dimensions are measured and check the opening against the contents you plan to demonstrate or pack. Leave room to close the seal without fabric being trapped in it. A nominal bag size does not establish how many blankets of every thickness will fit.
2. Confirm the film and measurement basis
Ask for the quoted film construction and its measurement basis. PA+PE describes the use of polyamide and polyethylene; it does not provide a thickness, layer ratio or test result. 3. Match the valve, closure and pump
Check the valve connection, cap and sealing strip on the sample. Confirm which vacuum source or hand pump is compatible. For the household clothing and bedding configuration discussed with Great Shine, a hand pump is optional; include or exclude it explicitly in the set list and quotation.
4. Agree sample checks before a bulk order
Load the sample with representative contents, close the sealing strip using the supplied instructions, remove air and inspect the closure and valve. Agree an observation period and acceptance criteria with the supplier. If reuse is part of the offer, agree the opening, loading and resealing procedure and the number of repetitions to assess. Do not substitute an unverified reuse claim for a recorded result.
5. Confirm quantity and packaging
Confirm the minimum quantity for the quoted configuration, whether it counts individual bags or complete retail sets, and any restrictions on mixed sizes, colours or packaging before placing an order. A changed construction or branded pack may need a separate confirmation. Check the pack count, instructions, pump inclusion and carton details against the approved sample.
