From product brief to production: a storage box example
A Great Shine home-storage project that has been produced included a lidded fabric box measuring 40 × 50 × 25 cm. Its handover specification shows how a product choice becomes a manufacturing brief. The dimensions are the expanded external length × width × height; internal clearance must be checked on the sample.
Define the box and its parts
The specification records 80 gsm polypropylene non-woven fabric, 2 mm cardboard supports, an attached lid and a clear PVC window at the front. These details identify the construction to quote. They do not establish a stacking load or waterproof performance.
Separate appearance from branding
The project has blue and light-brown body versions with contrasting brown trim. It specifies no product logo, while the printed retail insert has its own artwork requirement. For your version, identify the body, trim and handle colors separately, then state where branding belongs. A logo on the bag and artwork on the insert are different instructions.
Approve the product and retail pack together
The recorded unit pack is a CPP bag, hanging hook and printed insert, with 12 pieces per carton for this lidded configuration. Check the actual folded pack before approving insert artwork. The handover requires carton dimensions to be confirmed after packing, so a preliminary carton size should not become a fixed freight promise.
Keep a usable record for the next order
For a repeat order, retain the approved sample reference, dimension drawing, material and color references, insert artwork version and packing instructions. List proposed changes against that record before requesting a new quotation. This is the recommended record to keep; it is not a claim of repeat-order results for this project.
The confirmed starting quantity for these project storage-box styles is 500 pieces per style, with mixed colors within the same style. Confirm terms separately for a changed construction. Compare the storage box configurations, prepare your RFQ and quotation comparison, then use the sample approval checklist to record what you accept.

What is your MOQ for private label orders?
MOQ starts at 500 pcs for custom-logo orders using in-stock standard fabrics. For custom Pantone-dyed fabrics or exclusive patterns, MOQ is 1,000-2,000 pcs due to minimum dye-lot requirements.
Can you customize size, color, material, and logo?
Yes. Full customization across 8 layers: structure, size, material, color, lining, logo, labels, and packaging. Share your reference image and our engineer replies within one business day to discuss feasibility.
