Start with a produced configuration
The three project styles below start at 500 pieces per style, with mixed colors allowed within that style. Choose a reference, then confirm any changes to its size, materials or packaging before sampling.
Choose the fabric and support board
Compare the fabric finish for the intended retail range, then select the support board and its thickness. Review the assembled sample with the intended contents; a fabric name alone does not establish carrying strength.
Plan the packed product for retail
The lidded box and cube references include a CPP bag, hanging hook and printed insert. For your version, confirm the folded size, artwork and carton quantity together so the packaging fits the product.
Check how the filled sample works
During sample approval, check that the lid opens, the base stays seated and the handle can be used in the intended space. Agree on the filled weight and handling checks before specifying a load rating.
Keep the order specification clear
We confirm materials, dimensions, logo placement and packing details as the project develops. Keep the approved sample and specification together so production and repeat orders refer to the same agreed version.

- Open shelving: compare the visible fabric and front details with the rest of the collection. A label window lets users identify a bin without emptying it.

- Drawer interiors: measure the usable internal height, then compare a folded item with the compartment dimensions and check that the drawer closes with the organizer inside. The 16-compartment configuration below shows this structure.
- Under the bed: measure the lowest clearance, including any support bar. Compare it with the filled bin height and check the route needed to pull the bin out. See the under-bed containers below.
The first three configurations below come from a Great Shine home-storage project that has been produced. Their images are project reference illustrations. Each uses 80 gsm polypropylene (PP) non-woven fabric with 2 mm cardboard support. Dimensions are assembled external length × width × height.
MOQ is 500 pieces per style, with mixed colors allowed within the same style. Other styles are quoted against their own specifications.

Lidded storage box: 40 × 50 × 25 cm
For folded clothes stored between seasons, the attached lid covers the contents while the front clear PVC window lets users see inside. Check the shelf footprint and the clearance needed to lift the lid before choosing this size.
The lining and edge binding use 80 gsm PP non-woven fabric. Retail pack: CPP bag, hanging hook and printed insert. Project packing quantity: 12 pieces per carton.
Open-top fabric cube: 30 × 30 × 30 cm
For everyday shelf storage, the open top gives access without lifting a lid. The front fabric handle provides a place to pull the cube forward, and the clear PVC label window identifies its contents. Check room for the user’s hand as well as the shelf opening.
The stated size is external; confirm usable internal space on the sample. Retail pack: CPP bag, hanging hook and printed insert. Project packing quantity: 24 pieces per carton.
16-compartment organizer: 28 × 28 × 10 cm
For small clothing items that need separate spaces, compare the 16 compartments with your intended contents. Measure a folded item against one compartment and check the organizer height against the drawer clearance.
This configuration has a bottom zipper with one slider. Confirm the individual compartment dimensions, retail pack and carton arrangement during sample approval.
Collapsible Storage Bins
For storage that is only needed part of the year, choose a foldable structure that can be put away empty. Confirm which panels are removable and check both assembled and folded dimensions.
Decorative Storage Boxes
For open shelves, start with the visible fabric texture, color and handle finish. Approve these together on a sample so the bin suits the surrounding furniture as well as the items inside.
Toy Storage Bins
For sorting toys by type, choose an opening and depth that make the contents easy to reach. Specify the intended items and users when reviewing handles, closures and any market-specific requirements.
Under Bed Storage Containers
For seasonal clothes under a bed, measure the lowest clearance and the route used to pull the container out. Allow space for handles and check that the filled lid closes within that height.

Storage bin problems to check before production
A bin can look right in a photograph and still be awkward to use. Work through these checks with the intended contents before approving the sample.

The bin fits, but the contents do not
Confirm the external size, usable internal space and shelf opening separately. Check the filled sample with the intended items, leaving room to grip the handle and open the lid.
The filled bin loses its shape
Choose the support board and its placement with the intended contents in mind. Check the base and sides on an assembled, filled sample; fabric weight alone does not establish load capacity.
Handles or seams are under strain
State how the bin will be lifted and its intended filled weight. Agree on a handling check and acceptance criteria for the sample, including handle attachments and edge binding.
The storage space may be damp
Discuss a PP board option where moisture exposure is a concern. Assess the fabric, seams and care instructions together: changing the board alone does not make the bin waterproof or washable.
Colors differ across the range
Use a Pantone reference or physical swatch to specify the intended shade. Compare the selected fabric, binding and handles on the sample, then record the approved combination for the order.
The retail pack does not fit the display
Confirm the folded product size, pack quantity and insert layout. Review a packed sample against the shelf or hook display, and keep its packed dimensions separate from the assembled product dimensions.

Material and support-board options
The three project configurations in the product catalog use 80 gsm PP non-woven fabric and 2 mm cardboard support. For a different fabric storage bin, select the outer fabric and support board separately, then assess the assembled sample for its intended use.
Changes to material or construction need a separate specification review. Cardboard-supported fabric bins should not be presented as waterproof or machine-washable without supporting evidence.

Linen-Look Fabric
Choose a linen-look finish when texture matters on open shelving. Approve the swatch and confirm fiber composition; a linen appearance does not establish linen content or a washing method.
Oxford Fabric

Cardboard Insert
The three project configurations shown use 2 mm cardboard support. This is a reference for their construction, not a load rating for other sizes; review moisture exposure before selecting it.

Clear PVC Window

Support panels help define the shape of a fabric bin. Specify their position and material, then check the filled sample for bowing and whether the base sits flat.

Logo & Packaging Options for Custom Storage Boxes
The lidded box and open-top cube above were specified with a CPP retail bag, hanging hook and printed insert. Project packing quantities were 12 pieces per carton for the 40 × 50 × 25 cm lidded box and 24 for the 30 × 30 × 30 cm cube. These are packing quantities, separate from the 500-piece MOQ per style.
The insert artwork started at 21 × 29.7 cm and needed adjustment if it exceeded the packed product size. Carton artwork must also follow the confirmed carton dimensions. The project instructions called for protective sheets at the top and bottom of the carton to help prevent product damage during opening. Final carton dimensions and weights are confirmed for each order.

Screen Printing
For a single-color or spot-color logo, discuss screen printing on the selected fabric panel. Confirm its position relative to handles and windows, and agree on a sample check for print adhesion.
For multi-color or gradient artwork, confirm the printing method against the selected fabric. Review color and detail on a printed sample before approving the artwork.
Woven Label
A woven label can carry brand or size information. Confirm the stitching position and fold, then check that the label is readable when the filled bin is on the shelf.
Embroidery
Review stitch density and any backing needed for embroidery on the selected panel. Check the reverse side and whether the stitching distorts the fabric, especially on thin non-woven material.
Heat Transfer
For a transferred logo or fine lettering, confirm suitability on the selected fabric. Inspect the decoration after the sample has been folded and packed to check for lifting or damage.
Insert Card
Size the insert card to the folded retail pack and confirm the language required for the sales market. The project example above shows why the artwork dimensions may need adjustment before printing.
Hang Tag
Choose a tag attachment that suits the retail pack without damaging the bin or obstructing its handles. Check the attachment position and make sure the tag information agrees with the insert card.
Carton Mark
Agree on the required carton-mark fields, such as product name, quantity, carton number, weights, dimensions and destination. Check them against the confirmed packing information and fit the artwork to the final carton dimensions.
