Start with the Storage Range Your Customers Need

Choose a product family first. Then define its usable dimensions, retail presentation and order mix for your Canadian sales channel.

Home Storage

Everyday organization for closets, bedrooms and compact living spaces.
Confirm first: shelf or bed clearance, usable internal dimensions, closure and unit packaging.

Holiday Storage

Product ranges for storing trees, wreaths and ornaments between seasons.
Confirm first: packed-tree dimensions, wreath diameter, divider layout and your retailer’s receiving date.

Custom Garage Projects

Bring a tire-storage or equipment-organizer brief for feasibility review.
Confirm first: intended load, construction and any required tests before agreeing production specifications.
Labelling for Canada

Agree the Label Before Production

For covered textile products, federal rules generally require fibre-content information in English and French, plus dealer identification. The dealer identification itself need not be bilingual under the federal textile rules. Review product applicability, exemptions and any Quebec-specific requirements for your intended sales area.

Canada label and packaging review

Item to review
What to agree for your order
Fibre-content disclosure
The applicable fibre names and percentages, their EN/FR wording, and supporting composition information for the selected materials.
Dealer identification
The appropriate dealer name and address, or eligible Canadian dealer identification number, supplied or confirmed by your importing team.
Care information
Whether instructions are needed for the product or channel. Care labelling is voluntary under federal textile rules; any instructions used must accurately describe suitable care.
Quebec sales
Identify Quebec distribution at the brief stage so additional French-language requirements can be reviewed separately.
Retail packaging
Product identifiers, artwork, barcode placement and any applicable warnings, checked against the product and your channel’s current requirements.

Packing planned for your order

Net and gross weight
Confirm weights for the agreed carton quantity and packaging materials. Final figures are checked against the packed carton.

Delivery Planning

Work Backward from Your Warehouse Arrival Date

A retailer’s receiving deadline is different from a port arrival date. Share the destination, receiving requirements and target date so the quotation can account for each stage.
1 / Brief

Define the receiving deadline

Identify the product mix, quantities, destination province, warehouse or distribution centre, and desired arrival date.
2 / Sample & artwork

Allow time for review and revisions

Agree sample scope, cost and completion timing. Include courier transit and buyer approval time separately.
3 / Production

Confirm the production window

Schedule against the approved specifications, quantity and agreed order terms. Changes to the brief may change timing.
4 / Inspection & documents

Review the agreed shipment checks

Confirm the inspection plan, packing list, invoice, label version and other documents required for the shipment.
5 / Freight & receiving

Account for the full route to your warehouse

Review the ocean route, customs clearance and inland delivery with your forwarder or broker. Specify the named port or place and Incoterm in the quotation.
Production estimates, freight transit and receiving appointments are separate parts of the schedule. Timing and responsibilities are confirmed for the agreed order and route.

FAQ

Planning a Canada Order

Great Shine is based in China. This page is for Canadian brands, retailers and importers planning custom storage-product orders; it does not represent a Canadian factory or local warehouse.
For covered textile products, federal rules generally require bilingual fibre-content information and dealer identification. Dealer identification itself need not be bilingual under the federal textile rules. Care information is voluntary under those rules; product exemptions and Quebec-specific French-language requirements need separate review.
Include the sales provinces, fibre-composition information, dealer or importer details, and any retailer instructions in your brief. Confirm the applicable wording, label placement and artwork version before approving production.
Yes. Send the tire diameter and width, whether wheels are included, and whether the bag is for storage or carrying. Construction, any load requirements, sample scope and feasibility need to be agreed for the project before a bulk order.
Request the minimum quantity for your specific design, colour, material and packaging. Include the quantity for each SKU; a mixed-SKU total does not necessarily satisfy each design’s production minimum.
Sample cost and completion timing depend on the material, construction, artwork and development work. Ask for written sample terms, including any order-linked credit. Courier transit to Canada and your review time are separate from sample production.
Provide the warehouse or 3PL destination, target arrival date, importer or forwarder contact and preferred trade terms. For FOB shipments, confirm the named loading port and arrange the main freight with your forwarder. Review customs clearance, inland delivery and receiving appointments separately.
