Six details to check before bulk production

Agree the construction and sample checks for your hamper style before production. The points below help define what to review; test loads and acceptance criteria belong in the approved specification.
Review point 01

Handle strength

For wheeled and large fabric hampers, discuss webbing routed through the body panel with reinforced attachment points. Lighter mesh styles need a handle construction suited to their intended load.
Confirm webbing width, stitching and the agreed lifting test on the sample.
Review point 02

Standing stability

Rim wire, structured side panels or a reinforced base can help a tall hamper stand upright. Foldable and spring-frame styles need different support.
Review the sample empty and under the agreed load on a flat surface.

Usable capacity

External dimensions do not give the usable volume once the frame, base and liner are fitted. Sorter compartments should be measured separately.
Record finished dimensions, usable liters and the measurement method.

Fold-flat recovery

Crease placement and frame construction affect whether a folded hamper opens back into shape. The folded size also affects packing.
Agree the folding cycle count and check the reopened shape and packed dimensions.

Lid fit

Lid attachment, rim shape and fastening positions affect how the lid sits on the finished hamper.
Open and close the sample using the agreed cycle count, then check the fit around the rim.

Ventilation and liners

Breathable fabric or mesh panels can be specified for closed-body styles. Removable liners make access for cleaning easier.
Confirm fabric, vent placement and liner care instructions. Material review does not establish a laboratory airflow result.
Record agreed specifications and revisions on the sample approval sheet. Your written sample approval provides the reference for bulk production.

Fabric options and how we customize

Fabrics

Choose Oxford fabric, canvas, nonwoven fabric or polyester mesh. Provide your color reference and preferred printing method, such as screen print, heat transfer or woven labels.

Bamboo components

Bamboo hampers can use a removable fabric liner. Confirm liner fabric, attachment and care instructions for the selected style.

Hardware

Specify caster type, rim support, zipper and handle webbing during development. The approved sample records the selected components.

Use the approved sample as the production reference. Agree material checks, in-line inspection and final acceptance criteria before the bulk order.

Certifications and labelling

Request the factory audit and quality-management documents needed for your supplier review, including the available amfori BSCI and ISO 9001 records. Check the holder, scope and validity against your sourcing requirements.

Label content is customized to your requirements. Confirm the language, product information, care text, barcode and artwork for your order before production.

From reference sample to approved specification

Use this review sequence for your hamper program. It describes the development steps; product measurements and test results are recorded for your own sample.

Define the brief

Choose the hamper style, size or capacity target, fabric and packing format. A reference photo can help explain the shape and features you want.

Review the first sample

Check standing stability, handle attachment, usable capacity and folding. Record any issue alongside the agreed test method and photographs.

Confirm revisions and packing

Review the revised construction and repeat the agreed checks. Approve the final sample, label artwork and packing arrangement in writing. Units per carton, carton size and net/gross weights are confirmed for that configuration.
